Scotch Bonnet Seed

from $5.00

This iconic hot pepper is harder to come by than one might think. We’ve come across countless seed companies, nurseries, and grocers stores mislabeling habaneros as scotch bonnets. While similar to scotch bonnets, habaneros do differ in flavour and look, lacking the signature fruity aroma, heat, and “bonnet” shape that is characteristic of this Jamaican heirloom. In 2024 we grew out seeds that are certified by the Jamaican Ministry of Agriculture and saved the seed. We are grateful to now be able to offer this seed for you to grow and enjoy!
